CAF Confederation Cup: El-Kanemi Warriors Advance To Next Round Despite UDIB Defeat
El-Kanemi Warriors have advanced to the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup despite suffering a 1-0 defeat to UDIB of Guinea-Bissau in the second leg of their preliminary-round tie in Bissau on Sunday night.
The Maiduguri-based club progressed 3-1 on aggregate after securing a commanding 3-0 victory in the first leg at home.
El-Kanemi now face a tougher test against Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in the next round.

The first leg is scheduled to take place at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne between October 16 and 18.
Raja will host the return fixture in Casablanca between October 23 and 25.
The winner over the two legs will secure a place in the lucrative group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
