Big Brother star Frankie leaves viewers "confused" following relationship speculation

Big Brother star Frankie has left viewers confused following Tuesday's (29 September) episode, with some accusing him of changing his story regarding his relationship history prior to entering the iconic house.

The 23-year-old housemate from Eltham had shared during the second day of the season that he had separated from his girlfriend, with the star adding that he would "talk about it when I'm a bit more comfortable".

He may have gone back on that in tonight's instalment of the ITV reality series, however, as he said that he had been in a relationship for the past "four or five years". This left viewers confused, and many noted the inconsistency in his statements.

"In case you thought 'I thought Frankie didn't have a girlfriend!', let me flag up this clip from Day 2," wrote one user on X, who shared the clip of the housemate discussing his separation from his partner.

"Okay well now I'm confused because didn't Frankie say he had split from his girlfriend? Was he talking about a different ex?" said another viewer, while a third noted: "He's definitely playing a game with us and the house."

"I didn't think Frankie had a girlfriend?? I am misunderstanding this chat with big bro," asked another user, with somebody replying: "Not at all, he told Tays him and his gf broke up but he wouldn't explain why. He clearly lied and has forgotten he said he's single."

Another viewer echoed this sentiment as they asked: "Guys am I bugging or did Frankie say he broke up with his girlfriend?" One fan, meanwhile, said that they were "confused" by the situation.

Other viewers, however, were quick to not jump to any conclusions and urged other fans to not "assume" anything regarding Frankie's personal life, while some thought that he was simply referring to an ex-partner and his current girlfriend.

Frankie had previously come out as bisexual during his time on the series, with the star saying he decided to do it after feeling "shame" and "guilt" over the years. He was widely praised for his candour, with many deeming it a powerful moment.
