Translate

The Princess of Wales has shared a glimpse of her Halloween festivities as she shared a never seen before picture of Prince Louis on Saturday.

In the picture taken by Catherine in Norfolk, the young prince can be seen about to put his arms around a large pumpkin. Dressed in a blue raincoat and red wellies he shares a cheeky smile as he looks down at the seasonal favourite.

The caption shared on Kensington Palace’s official Instagram reads: “Happy Halloween [pumpkin emoji] Prince Louis, aged 1, photographed by The Princess of Wales.”

Fans praised the picture as of the one-year-old as “adorable” as one wrote: “Aw the pumpkin is nearly as big as Prince Louis. Cute photograph.”

Another added: “He's adorable! Happy Halloween to W,C,G,C and L!!”

Others noted the similarities to Louis’ older brother George, writing: “Adorable! Wow looks so much like George here!” and “So cute. I thought it was Prince George.”

Some also pointed out the young prince’s likeness to his mum and dad, commenting: “Such a beautiful boy. 99 per cent Middleton” and “Looks so like Prince William at that age!”.

The Royal family does not formally celebrate Halloween, but the Wales’ have been known to enjoy the festivities with their children privately.

It comes after Kate made a private visit to mental health support charity Dose Of Nature in west London last week, meeting staff and people helped by the organisation, which provides clinically-led "nature prescriptions" to boost wellbeing.

Visiting Pensford Field, the charity’s site near Kew, she met with clinicians to learn more about their pioneering mental health support and meet with those who had benefitted.
