"We Are Putting Asmongold in Jail": HasanAbi Makes Wild Announcement During His Midterm Election Coverage

HasanAbi told viewers during his 2026 US midterm election coverage that “woke is back,” and he wasn't done there. He also told people to put their gender pronouns back on LinkedIn and joked that Asmongold would be sent to prison under what he called“woke 3.0.” On top of that, Hasan described himself as the leader of the Democratic Party coalition, claiming Republicans had given him that title. It all happened on a night when Democrats were hoping for big gains in Congress, and they ended up winning control of both chambers. His election-night commentary turned into one long run of jokes aimed at political opponents and at Asmongold, a streamer he has been feuding with for a while.

HasanAbi Declares “Woke 3.0” and Tells Viewers to Restore Their LinkedIn Pronouns

On his November 3 livestream, Hasan said he was officially bringing back the woke era, though he was skipping the second version altogether.

“I just want to repeat one more time – woke is back, ladies and gentlemen. It's official. I mean, it was too early to call, but I think we're ready to call it,”he said.

He tied the announcement to a running bit about leading the Democratic Party coalition, saying Republicans allegedly call it the “Hasan Piker Democrats.” That joke set up “woke 3.0,” and Asmongold was the first one in the crosshairs.

“It's now illegal to be Asmongold. We are putting Asmongold in prison. Okay?” Hasan said, adding that he wanted the streamer put in a cage and paraded around town.

Anyone who had taken gender pronouns off a professional profile got a message too.

“Everybody get work right now. Put your gender pronouns back in your LinkedIn profiles immediately, or the Gaystappo will be knocking down your door,” he joked. The sarcasm kept coming with another line: “ICE is now nice. Okay? ICE is now nice.”

Hasan Repeats His Asmongold Jail Joke While Predicting a Democratic Election Victory

The Asmongold bit didn't go away. Later in the coverage, with the conversation turning to a possible big Democratic night in the midterms, Hasan brought it back.

“Dog, this performance continues; we're putting Asmongold in prison. Okay? Hasan Piker Democrats, we are putting Asmongold in jail!” he said.

He also handed out a few over-the-top names for a Democratic win, including “Blue-nami,” “Bluke” and “Blue-clear apocalypse.”

Asmongold being the target isn't random. The two have traded shots for a long time. Hasan called xQc and Asmongold “worm-like individuals”during an August 23 livestream, and Asmongold has criticized Hasan over his appearance at the College Democrats of America convention, warning that his remarks could risk wider deplatforming.

When the night was over, Democrats had won control of both chambers of Congress. Asmongold had not publicly responded to Hasan's remarks at the time of writing.
