SEOUL, Oct 4 — Blackpink has set another record on YouTube, with their debut music video Boombayah crossing 1.9 billion views.

The milestone, reached this morning in South Korea, makes the track the first K‑pop debut video to achieve the figure, Soompi reported.

Boombayah is now the first K‑pop debut music video ever to reach the milestone on YouTube.

The group also stands out as the only K‑pop act with three separate videos surpassing 1.9 billion views, following earlier hits Ddu‑Du Ddu‑Du and Kill This Love.

Released on August 8, 2016, the Boombayah video took just over a decade to reach the latest benchmark.
