One-time Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon says a recent claim made by Hugh Hefner's widow Crystal Harris - that the late Playboy founder asked Shannon to have sex with her then-teenage twin Kristina - 'is true.'
'He would try and force me and my sister to have sex with each other,' Karissa, 37, claimed to Page Six on Wednesday.
Karissa and Kristina had resided at the mansion at the ages of 18 through 20.
Karissa said that she was surprised at the shocked reaction after Harris' claims Hefner sought to encourage acts of 'incest' between the sisters, saying she had 'figured people would already have assumed that.'
In reference to Hefner's insistence of having a sexual encounter with the twins on their 19th birthday in October of 2008, Karissa said that she felt the encounters were akin to sexual 'assault' and 'rape.'
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Karissa Shannon, Kristina Shannon and Playboy for further comment on the story.

Karissa claimed to Page Six that she and her sibling pretended to engage in sexual acts to appease Hefner.
'Me and my sister never actually did it together,' Karissa told the outlet. 'So that's a statement I want to say.
'Like, really, we never, never had incest[uous] sex. Like, we never did that. We faked it. We faked it every time. And it was horrible. Like, we faked it completely.'
Harris was on hand during some of the encounters and aware the sisters 'were faking it,' Karissa said, while Hefner - who died at 91 in September of 2017 - 'had no idea' and 'thought it was real.'
The simulated act of incest 'made him so happy,' Karissa claimed to Page Six, as he said it was 'beautiful.'
Karissa said of Hefner, 'He wanted to see it and wanted us to fool around with each other and said that if we really loved each other, we would do it together.'
Karissa said she and Kristina 'spoke about' Hefner's requests and agreed, 'Let's just fake it.'

Karissa told the outlet that she had 'no idea' that the Playmates who resided in the home were 'really having sex' with Hefner and other people.
Harris, in her interview with Lisa Guerrero Unleashed last week, said that 'in the bedroom, things would happen that ended up just not being okay.'
Hefner had tried 'to get [the Shannon twins] to engage with each other sexually,' Harris said, noting, 'That is incest and that is disgusting.'
Harris said that she was glad the twins ultimately left the Playboy Mansion amid Hefner's twisted demands.
'I didn’t want them to have to do something like that with each other,' Harris said. 'So that was very, very hard.'
