Pokémon Winds and Waves will be launching next year, but official details on the upcoming Gen 10 games have been pretty scarce. That hasn't stopped leaks and rumors, of course, with information on the new region showing up online regularly. However, The Pokémon Company and Game Freak have also given us plenty to look forward to, and ahead of Winds and Waves' release date, there's a new Espeon design to appreciate as well.

One of the most persistent rumors has been that a new Eeveelution will debut in Winds and Waves, but that hasn't been officially confirmed at this time. So, it's great that the franchise is still offering us new designs of beloved Pokémon like Espeon. The design was shown off at the same time as the newly-announced Winter Night Sky collection, and it's perfect for this holiday season.

Espeon Togther For the Holidays Pokemon Center collection

The "Espeon Together for the Holidays Ornament" is available now at Pokémon Center. Priced at $16.99, it shows Espeon wearing a red scarf and curled up with a wooden toy that looks a lot like Yamper. The official description of the item reads:

Get together with friends and family for the holidays—and bring Pokémon along for the ride! This resin ornament features Espeon wearing a red scarf while playing with a Yamper toy, and it's ready to celebrate with festive cheer! Add it to a holiday tree or wreath to give your home a touch of Pokémon fun season after season.

The Espeon ornament comes with a green ribbon for easy hanging, and a flat base in case you'd rather display it on a shelf, table, or windowsill. Its measurements are 3.2 x 2.9 x 3.2 inches. This is part of the "Together For The Holidays" collection, so it can make the perfect gift or collectible for any fan wanting to get a head start on their holiday shopping. Personally, I'd have loved to see an Umbreon released alongside Espeon for the symmetry of the thing, but I guess that will have to remain a dream for now. Maybe I can just get two Espeons and paint one black. That's almost the same, kind of.

Pokémon Winds and Waves will release in 2027, and in the meantime, the release window and actual date haven't been officially confirmed. The franchise shows no signs of slowing down, however, mostly thanks to new releases like this one on Pokémon Center and the Pokémon TCG, like the upcoming Delta Reign set. A new Eeveelution has long been rumored for the Gen 10 games, but at least for now, fans will have to settle for adorable redesigns like the one for Espeon here.

If it's a bit too early for Christmas right now, Pokémon Center has a Halloween collection as well, which also includes fun new designs for Espeon and Umbreon. Even if Winds and Waves don't introduce a new Eevee evolution, it's nice to see that Pokémon is still giving us new ways to appreciate Eeveelutions decades after they were first introduced into the series.
