Jennifer Lawrence Addresses Being Bravo Superfan Who Uncovered ‘Summer House’ Reunion Leaker: “I Don’t Mind My Own Business”
Jennifer Lawrence has acknowledged she is the Bravo superfan who helped uncover the Summer House reunion leaker.
On the latest episode of Call Her Daddy, the Hunger Games star said she found the person who leaked audio from the reunion.
“I can confirm,” she told podcast host Alex Cooper.
Lawrence noted that “it was quite easy” to get to the bottom of things, as “everything was public information.”
Although Lawrence didn’t reveal more details about how she went about her sleuthing techniques, she added, “I don’t mind my own business. That’s the thing about me.”
Lawrence is a Bravoholic, and earlier this year the Summer House scandal shook the Bravoverse to its core when it was revealed that Amanda Batula was secretly dating West Wilson, who had previously dated her best friend Ciara Miller. Batula had also recently revealed she was estranged from her husband, Kyle Cooke.
Hours after the Summer House cast taped their Season 10 reunion, an audio recording leaked on social media. Days after, Bravo released a statement following their investigation into the matter and “concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion.” The network said that “appropriate action has been taken” and denied that any cast member was involved in the leak.
On his SiriusXM show, Cohen revealed that a Bravo fan “cracked the case” and “delivered crucial information” that led the network to identify the leaker. Later, on his Watch What Happens Live talk show, Andy Cohen revealed the fan was Lawrence.
“With the last reunion episode having aired tonight, I wanted to personally thank that super fan. That super fan is indeed Jennifer Lawrence,” Cohen said. “Her online sleuthing helped our team of investigators solve this mystery. Bravo fans are the most loyal and dedicated. Jennifer Lawrence — Oscar winner, you are at the top of the class.”
