The Government of Nova Scotia is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the homicide of Uriah Lemar Black. Provided/Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes

The homicide of Uriah Lemar Black has been added to Nova Scotia’s Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

Black was found suffering from a gunshot wound on McFatridge Road in Halifax on Feb. 20, 2025.

At the time, police said they responded to the community of Fairview just before 6:30 a.m., where officers found an unconscious and wounded man on the sidewalk.
