Celebrity Traitors star Maya Jama proves she's a savvy operator off screen as well as on as her company's fortune rockets to a whopping £4M - as she is banished at final round table

Maya Jama has proved she's a savvy operator off screen as well as on after her company's fortune rocketed to more than £4million, the Daily Mail can reveal.

The Celebrity Traitors star, 32, saw her business empire grow by almost £1.4million in just one year.

Newly published accounts also show her firm had nearly £2.5million in the bank at the end of January this year, plus investments worth almost £1.4million.

The bumper figures come as Maya took centre stage in Friday night's final of The Celebrity Traitors, having made it all the way to the last episode as one of just two Traitors left in the game.

However right at last hurdle she was banished by the contestants and even her fellow Traitor King Kenny after they became suspicious of her at the round table.

Documents lodged at Companies House show her firm, MIJ & Co Entertainment Ltd, was worth more than £4million after its debts were taken into account - up from £2.63million the year before.

The Love Island presenter has made no secret of her business ambition.

In 2024, she revealed her financial advisers told her she could afford to retire at 40, but she insisted: 'I want to make a lot more money first.'

In April 2025, as her busy schedule continued, she admitted: 'I rarely get time off.'

Maya has also spoken about putting her money to work rather than simply spending it, explaining last year: 'I think a diverse portfolio is important.'

Her financial success comes after a packed year that saw her continue presenting ITV's Love Island, flying to Mallorca for the summer 2025 series.

She also continued her judging role on The Masked Singer, while returning to South Africa in January this year to host Love Island: All Stars.

And she found time to take her career in a new direction, announcing in May 2025 that she had secured an acting role in Guy Ritchie's Netflix drama The Gentlemen.

Alongside her television jobs, Maya has built up a string of lucrative advertising partnerships, including with beauty brand Rimmel London.

In April 2025, she joined forces with Uber Eats to launch a special takeaway menu featuring some of her favourite comfort foods.

The Bristol-born star is also involved in other businesses, including her skincare brand MIJ Masks and Swedish plant-based milk company Sproud, in which she invested before the latest accounting year.

Her ambitions have extended into property, too. In September 2025, Maya set up a separate company, later renamed Penny Property Holdings.

Three months later, she reportedly bought a £520,000 cottage in the Cotswolds through a separate company she controls.

The three-bedroom home has since been offered to holidaymakers as a rental property, giving the presenter another potential source of income.

It was also a significant year in Maya's personal life.

During the period covered by the accounts, she was dating Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias, 29, with the couple making their relationship public in spring 2025.

The pair reportedly spent time living together in Cheshire, but their relationship ended in April this year, after the financial year had finished.

Maya had previously split from rapper Stormzy, 33, in July 2024 following their high-profile on-off relationship.

Since her break-up with Ruben, her television profile has climbed even higher thanks to The Celebrity Traitors, filmed in Scotland earlier this year.
