KUCHING, Oct 27 — A teenage boy is still missing after he was attacked by a crocodile in Ulu Sungai Plaie, Sebuyau on Monday afternoon.

The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said it was notified of the incident at around 7pm.

Bomba Sarawak said Simunjan fire station personnel are currently at the scene conducting a search and rescue (SAR) operation for the boy.

In a Facebook post, licensed crocodile hunters Sarawak Crocter said the attack occurred at around 4pm when the victim was loading oil palm fruits into a boat.

It quoted Simunjan police chief DSP Rafhan Kepli as saying the 13-year-old victim was working with his uncle when the attack occurred.
