Indian shuttlers will eye a rewarding outing in the BWF World Championships at home.

The 30th edition of the BWF World Championships is set to take place at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi from August 17 to 23, 2026. Marking the return of badminton’s premier event to Indian soil for the first time since 2009, top shuttlers across five disciplines — Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles— will compete for world titles and major ranking points.
