Noah Weiland Tapped as New Singer of LA Rock Band Zephyring

Noah Weiland, the son of late Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland, has become the new singer of the Los Angeles rock band Zephyring.
Noah takes over for the band’s previous singer Taz, who parted ways with Zephyring in August. Previously, Noah fronted the short-lived band Suspect208, which also featured Slash’s son London Hudson and Robert Trujillo’s son Tye Trujillo.
Prior to Noah joining the band, Zephyring already established themselves with two albums, both produced by the late Steve Albini (Nirvana, PJ Harvey), and released on the label Grunge Pop Records. In addition to Noah, the band features lead guitarist Frank Salazar, rhythm guitarist Pyn Doll (also of the band Barb Wire Dolls), bassist Gabe Maska, and drummer Kyle Brian.
Noah will make his live debut with Zephyring on December 4th at Los Angeles’ Viper Room. In a video message announcing the news, the singer mentioned that his new solo album, CRASHOUT JUNKIE, was coming still out today (October 1st).
Last year, Noah played a show featuring Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver songs as a tribute to his late father on the 10th anniversary of Scott Weiland’s passing.
