Jude Bellingham set to take huge decision on his future at Real Madrid

Real Madrid are reportedly closing in on a new long-term contract for Jude Bellingham, with the England international expected to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu until 2032.

Tansfer news journalist Nicolò Schira, Bellingham is now “one step away” from signing an extension that would add three more years to his current agreement. His existing contract with Real Madrid runs until June 2029.

Bellingham joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in 2023 and quickly established himself as an important member of the squad. The Spanish giants are reportedly keen to secure his long-term future as part of their plans for the coming years.

There are earlier reports which indicated that Madrid had already opened discussions over a new deal, with the club looking to reward the midfielder with improved financial terms. Some reports have suggested that the proposed renewal could place Bellingham among Real Madrid's highest-paid players, potentially bringing his salary closer to the level of stars such as Vinícius Júnior and Kylian Mbappé.

However, those financial details have not been officially confirmed by Real Madrid.

The reported extension would keep Bellingham at the Bernabéu through 2032, giving Real Madrid long-term security over one of the club's key midfielders. The 23-year-old has already played a significant role for the Spanish giants since his arrival from Dortmund, and his continued development has made him an important part of the club's long-term sporting project.

Real Madrid have yet to officially announce the new contract. If the deal is completed, Bellingham would be tied to the club for the next six seasons.
