Chelsea Star Set For Medical At Former Serie A Title Winners
Multiple sources claim that Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile will undergo medical tests with Napoli on Tuesday.
Chelsea defender Badiashile is on the verge of joining Napoli on loan and will undergo medical examinations with the Partenopei tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18.
According to Football Italia, Corriere dello Sport and Corriere della Sera confirm the date for the defender’s medical tests, and Corriere dello Sport adds that the 25-year-old will land in Italy later today.
Badiashile will undergo medical tests at Villa Stuart in Rome before travelling south to Naples, as is customary for all new Napoli signings.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli will pay €3m plus €1m add-ons for the player’s loan, adding an option to buy for €27m.

The Partenopei have been forced to bring in a new central defender following pre-season injuries to Alessandro Buongiorno, Sam Beukema and Luca Marianucci.
