Neagley is making a big first impression.
The new Reacher spinoff has set an all-time Rotten Tomatoes score for Alan Ritchson's Amazon era as the world of the action thriller expands. Neagley is set to arrive on Prime Video tomorrow, September 16, 2026, with all eight episodes of the spinoff series getting released all at once. The show follows Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) as she investigates the death of an old friend, discovering a suspicious conspiracy surrounding the incident. Armed with her wits and Army training, she sets off to uncover the truth and carry out her version of justice.
According to Rotten Tomatoes, however, Neagley has debuted with an 83% critic score based on 12 reviews. This makes the opening season of the spinoff well-received, but also the lowest-rated season of the Reacher franchise. It puts the show behind Reacher season 1, the previous record-holder. While reviews coming in may alter the overall critical perspective, the series' initial impression signals it's strong, but not quite as strong as the main show. Still, it's a fresh rating that seems poised to stay fresh as more reviews arrive.
