SURAT THANI — 22 October 2026, Authorities on Koh Phangan have revoked the visa of an Israeli woman following complaints about her behaviour on the island.

Ensav Ashual, 33, was accused of making threats of assault and using rude language towards officials and other people, according to the report, which cited a committee that reviews complaints about foreigners on the island.

The committee also accused Ashual of refusing to pay for accommodation and entrance fees to Than Sadet–Ko Pha-ngan National Park. The report said she had worked on the island as an art therapist and breathwork guide, among other occupations.

The committee is chaired by Koh Phangan district chief Phaisit Thongjerm and includes tourist police and local administrative officials. Ashual is reportedly the third Israeli national on the island to have her visa revoked this year.
