After a two-year hiatus, the GoldenSky Festival will return to Northern California in 2027, bringing more country music back to the West Coast when it hits Discovery Park in Sacramento on Oct. 9-10, 2027.
Zach Bryan, Megan Moroney, Treaty Oak Revival, Ty Myers, Whiskey Myers, Hudson Westbrook, Max McNown and more are on the lineup, which also features Wyatt Flores, Vincent Mason, Avery Anna, Braxton Keith, Blake Whiten, Waylon Wyatt, Mack Geiger, Kaitlin Butts, Carter Faith, Alexandra Kay, Noah Rinker, The Band Perry, Tyler Nance, Graham Barham, Los Hermanos Mendoza and Fey Fili.
The 2027 edition is the first in a three-year commitment that will bring GoldenSky Festival back to Sacramento for 2027, 2028 and 2029.
Next year, the Danny Wimmer Presents-led fest expands its offerings in Discovery Park, with amenities/experiences including The Tailgate, a pregame destination that features local food, happy hour pricing and Bar 1973, an air conditioned, Old West saloon-style space with arcade games. Attendees can also enjoy 3 Pina Coladas: Honky Tonk Luau, a space for tropical frozen drinks. El Dorado Cantina will offer local street tacos and drinks, while Smokehouse Inn will offer California-style tri-tip. Additionally, reimagined versions of GoldenSky Fest fan favorites including River City Dance Hall and Overtime Sports Bar will offer activities such as line-dancing from Sacramento instructors. A new Country Club SVIP space further elevates the fest’s party vibes with a mainstage viewing platform, an air-conditioned lounge, fast-track entry, and food and drinks.
“We’ve missed GoldenSky, and after two years away, we knew if we were bringing it back, we needed to come back big,” Chamie McCurry, general manager at Danny Wimmer Presents, said in a statement, adding, “This lineup feels like the perfect return, reflecting what’s exciting in country music right now while staying true to what made people fall in love with GoldenSky in the first place. More importantly, we’re not just coming back for a weekend. We’ve made a long-term commitment to Sacramento, and we’re excited to keep growing GoldenSky and investing in this community for years to come.”
“The excitement is already in the air in Sacramento, and we’re ready to welcome GoldenSky back to Discovery Park,” added Visit Sacramento President & CEO Mike Testa. “This event has a proven track record of bringing music fans from across the country to our region, and we’re confident that the 2027 lineup will inspire even more visitors to travel here for an unforgettable festival weekend.”
GoldenSky Festival launched in 2022 and ran through 2024; in that time, GoldenSky welcomed performers including Ashley McBryde, Bailey Zimmerman, Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Tim McGraw, Shaboozey and Turnpike Troubadours.
