Neagley has quickly become a streaming hit, but it can't dethrone Prime Video's Number 1, action-packed sensation. A spinoff of Reacher, Neagley season 1 follows its title character, Frances Neagley, as she investigates the death of an old friend and his ties to an off-grid community called Echo Canyon. The show features the same level of high-octane action as its parent series, though with Reacher's friend and comrade front and center. Reviews for the show have also been positive, with season 1 sitting at a Certified Fresh 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.
But that's not the only place the show has found significant success. According to new data from September 18, 2026, Neagley is now the Number 2 TV show on Prime Video worldwide. While the series isn't Number 1 in any country, it has reached the Number 2 streaming project overall in dozens of significant places across the globe. This includes a second place spot in the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, and Portugal among many, many others. However, it wasn't able to beat out Prime Video's much bigger action series.
Neagley Can’t Beat Reacher For Prime Video’s #1 Spot
Neagley is still behind Reacher on Prime Video, just shy of the massive action series' current Number 1 spot. Reacher season 4 may have ended on Wednesday, but its season finale and, subsequently, all episodes being available to view around the world, have kept its popularity high. As of writing, the show is the Number 1 TV show on Prime Video in 42 countries, while being Number 1 overall in 27. It proves a much higher level of popularity, but one that Neagley is slowly starting to gain thanks to its ties to the show.
While it hasn't been able to beat out Reacher on streaming, the spinoff's Number 2 spot shows it's performing well after just two days on the platform. It's likely aided by the fact season 1 dropped all at once, with all eight episodes available for viewing right now. It also helps that Neagley is such a significant Reacher character already, having proven herself capable of holding her own in various scenarios whenever she's appeared in the main show.
Neagley Has 1 Big Advantage Going Into The Future
While it wasn't able to beat Reacher in its first few days on streaming, the future of Neagley shows that it has one major advantage over the already-running TV show. Since every episode dropped at once, it means the show can find an audience right off the end of Reacher season 4, giving those who want more an additional story to follow. It's also only in its first season, with plans for additional seasons if the ratings are right.
Question 1 of 3
Since it has a multi-year focus like its parent show, it had the advantage of time on its side, especially because it remains in its infancy. There's still plenty for Neagley to tackle that it hasn't yet, with the show setting the stage for more solo missions that can coincide with Reacher's. It helps establish the action franchise world, while signaling it'll be a success in its own right, potentially equal to its companion show in due time.
