The IDF killed Hamas Nukhba cell commander Maher Walid Omar Al-Husseini in the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday, the military announced on Friday.

According to the IDF, Al-Husseini infiltrated the Kibbutz Re'im military base as part of Hamas's October 7 massacre.

Since the 2023 attacks, the terrorist has continued his involvement in planning terror attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians, the military noted.

The announcement follows two separate Gaza strikes on Thursday, which killed an additional Hamas commander who participated in the October 7 massacre and a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist.

The Hamas commander, Mohammed Mohammed Abd al-Khalek Hala, was killed in northern Gaza, while the PIJ terrorist, Ahmad Jabrin Tawqif Dalhan, was killed in Khan Yunis, the IDF said earlier on Friday.

According to the military, Hala produced weapons for Hamas and advanced its presence in Gaza, and Dalhan advanced attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians.

Gazan terror weapon smugglers killed in joint IDF-Shin Bet strike

On Thursday, the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) jointly announced that they killed two terrorists in Gaza on Wednesday who were allegedly involved in the smuggling of weapons and other military assets into the strip.

The Khan Yunis strikes killed Basel Nabil Abd al-Rahman Kashta and Ahmad Raja al-Shaer, with the statement describing them as having posed an immediate threat to IDF soldiers operating in the area of the Yellow Line, as well as Israeli civilians.
