FM reiterates Egypt’s condemnation of attacks on Saudi Arabia
Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s condemnation of all attacks against Saudi Arabia and its full support for the Kingdom’s security and stability during a phone call with Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The phone call came as part of the ongoing communication and coordination between the two brotherly countries to consult on various issues of mutual concern.
The call underscored the depth of the fraternal and strategic relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia and the importance of strengthening various mechanisms of bilateral cooperation across all fields.
The two ministers also discussed regional developments, including the crisis with Iran, security in the Red Sea region, and the situation in Sudan. They agreed on the need to safeguard the security and freedom of maritime navigation in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
The two ministers renewed their affirmation of the two brotherly countries’ steadfast position in support of Sudan’s unity and sovereignty, stressing the importance of preserving its national institutions to safeguard its security and stability in a manner that meets the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people.
