Jamie Campbell Bower teases completely different 'lover boy' character in Rings of Power season 3
Jamie Campbell Bower has teased quite the different character in Rings of Power. The Stranger Things star is joining The Lord of The Rings: Rings of Power season 3 as Elf lord Celeborn, who is the husband of Morfydd Clark's Galadriel.
Campbell Bower has previously described Celeborn as a "lover boy", which he has since elaborated on what he meant by this while sitting down with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
When comparing his terrifying appearance as Vecna in Stranger Things to his more subtle look in Rings of Power, Fallon asked about his description of Celeborn as a "lover boy", leading the actor to describe the character as being "so lovely".

"He's so lovely," he said. "I mean, you know, he's Galadriel's husband. Galadriel, as we all know, is, you know, famously played by Cate Blanchett - in our show, played by Morfydd Clark, who is amazing and wonderful."
He then went on to reveal that during the past two seasons of the fantasy show, Celeborn has been locked away in prison, which has lead Galadriel to believe that he is dead.
"And so I've sort of reappeared, and I'm like, "Hey, I'm back. How are you doing? What's going on?" Campbell Bower continued.
Fallon also brought up the special effects makeup and revealed that it was the same person who did Campbell Bower's makeup for Vecna, the make-up artist Barrie Gower.
"It's amazing, it's incredible," the actor said. "I mean, let's be honest, like Vecna, incredible, awesome. Did take a long time to put on - about 7 1/2 hours."
While the plot for Rings of Power season 3 has been kept largely under wraps, what is certain is that there'll be plenty of battle action going on as it picks up during the height of the war between the Elves and Sauron, who continues his campaign to take over Middle-earth.
But Campbell Bower isn't the only new face in the series, as Hot Fuzz's Simon Pegg will be voicing the Balrog, while Clayface's Eddie Marsan is joining as a mystery character.
The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power season 3 premieres on Prime Video on 11 November.
