PM reviews preparations for Egyptian energy journey session at Egypt Forum 2026

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated that the Egyptian Energy Journey session at Egypt Forum 2026 reviews the energy sector’s progress since 2014 through a comprehensive presentation of achievements, supported by figures, indicators, projects, and investments in electricity, renewable energy, and future expansion plans, alongside challenges and response methods.
Madbouly made the remarks during a meeting held to review the session’s axes, in the presence of Electricity Minister Mahmoud Esmat, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, Petroleum Minister Karim Badawi, and other senior officials, as part of preparations for Egypt Forum 2026 ordered by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to be held from October 19 to 24 at the St. Regis Hotel in the New Administrative Capital.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the session will also review the petroleum and mineral wealth sector’s progress during the same period, including developments in exploration, production, major discoveries, and efforts regarding foreign partners’ dues, stressing the need for the session to answer citizens’ questions and present future project plans.
