One of the biggest questions surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s return to the UK has been whether he and his brother, Prince William, will ever reconcile. While multiple reports have revealed that the Duke of Wales has no desire to reconcile with his brother, new reports share more details about how he and Kate Middleton are handling the entire change.

How Prince William and Kate Middleton are dealing with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s return to the UK

PEOPLE reported that while the Duke and Duchess of Wales had been dealing with the issue from afar, now with Markle and his brother’s return to the UK, they must deal with it head-on. A statement from the report shared, “It’s been magnified. When they were in California, and you gazed through the looking glass, you couldn’t see it so well, but it is right back in front of them.”Russel Meyers, author of the book ‘William and Catherine,' also stated to the outlet, “William and Catherine can maintain that their focus has to be about them and their family, but there will be pressure on them about how they interact with Harry and Meghan and their family in the future.”

He added that while Prince William and King Charles have approached his younger brother’s move to the UK differently, they share opinions on a few things.

“The King and William are completely united on the Sussexes not representing the royal family. It’s without a doubt how in sync they are on this matter," he added. He further shared that Prince William wants no part of the matter and that whatever connection Prince Harry and King Charles have is between them and does not involve him in any manner.

Furthermore, he does not want any connection with them either. “But looking toward the future, he will have no relationship with them, in a working or private capacity whatsoever," Meyers concluded.

About King Charles's letter about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s status in the UK

Kate Middleton and Prince William recently celebrated a high moment in their familial life as they dropped their son and future king, Prince George, off at boarding school in Eaton College earlier this month. Only a day prior, King Charles had issued a public letter announcing that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to be operating as private citizens and will be nonworking royals.Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle arrived in the UK on August 26, along with their children, Archie and Lilibet, who have already started their schooling here. Reports reveal that the family of four will stay in the UK indefinitely, although they still own their house in Montecito, California, which they have called home for the past six years.
