‘Reasonable Doubt’ Drops Season 4 Trailer Revealing Shooting Victim

For fans of Hulu‘s Reasonable Doubt, the shooting victim teased in the Season 3 finale, when Monica (Brandee Evans) stormed into The Stewart Firm, has been revealed in the first trailer (above) for Season 4. Season 4 premieres with three episodes on October 6, with new episodes dropping weekly on Tuesdays through November 4.

The video shows Jax (Emayatzy Corinealdi) in the hospital fighting to survive with the help of many life-saving machines. She also has the support of her loved ones, like her husband, Lewis Stewart (McKinley Freeman), who is shown at her bedside, and Corey Cash (Morris Chestnut), who also visits the hospital, asking Jax to keep fighting.

Chaos has erupted in her absence, with her old firm moving into action to poach her clients in her greatest time of need. In a voice-over, Cory says, “This is not the end of your story; it can’t be.”

Monica shot Jax because she blames her for destroying her career and reputation. So if all goes well, I’m going to guess that Monica has some karma waiting for her.

Season 4 is about survival, truth, and rebuilding under pressure. Every character will be forced to confront consequences they can no longer outrun as Jax’s fate hangs in the balance, driving the entire story forward in the new season.

The official synopsis: After a brutal attack leaves Jax’s family and newly minted law firm shaken, nothing feels certain, especially their future. With Jax’s most loyal client at the center of a spiraling media disaster, The Stewart Firm is thrust into a high-stakes battle where every move could mean survival … or collapse of the firm. As grief lingers and pressure mounts, one question looms: Can they rebuild in time, or will the cost of moving forward too quickly be everything they stand to lose?

Reasonable Doubt is created, written and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed Hunter. Kerry Washington executive produces alongside Pilar Savone for Simpson Street, Larry Wilmore for Wilmore Films, Tamara Gregory, Anton Cropper, Lena Cordina and Erika L. Johnson. Shawn Holley, Jon Leshay and Zahir McGhee serve as co-executive producers. The series hails from Onyx Collective and is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
