Nicholas Kioko Announces Shift to Full-Time Forex Trading, Offers Account Management Services

Translate

Kenyan content creator Nicholas Kioko has announced that he is venturing into full-time foreign exchange (forex) trading, marking a major shift from his established career in digital content creation.

Kioko confirmed the development through a series of updates on his official Instagram account, where he revealed that currency trading had become his primary focus. He also announced that he would be offering forex account management services to clients interested in having him trade on their behalf.

Kioko Confirms Forex Trading Business

Addressing questions from his online followers, Kioko confirmed that he was actively involved in forex trading and had made it his full-time occupation.

“For those asking whether I trade Forex, the answer is YES!” he stated.

He further disclosed that his services would extend beyond trading his own account to managing funds belonging to other people.

“And for those wondering whether I can trade on your behalf, YES, I offer Forex account management services,” he added.

Kioko Warns Against Unrealistic Profit Expectations

Alongside the announcement, the content creator cautioned potential clients against expecting quick profits, insisting that he would not make exaggerated claims about trading returns.

“However, there’s one thing you need to understand: I don’t exaggerate figures or promise overnight riches,” he wrote.

He used the example of a trader depositing $1,000 and expecting to afford a luxury vehicle the following day to illustrate what he described as unrealistic expectations.

“You cannot fund your trading account with $1,000 today and expect to buy a V8 tomorrow!” he said.

Kioko also discussed the possibility of high returns on favourable trading days, while acknowledging that such performance was not guaranteed and that losses remained a possibility.

“On a very good trading day, returns can potentially reach 30% of your capital, but this is exceptional, not guaranteed, and losses are equally possible,” he explained.

He added: “I believe in transparency, realistic expectations, and proper risk management.”

Kioko Shares Live Trading Experience

To demonstrate the unpredictable nature of the forex market, Kioko shared an update about one of his trades, explaining that the position initially moved against his prediction before beginning to turn around.

He noted that “the trade initially went into losses before the market started moving in my predicted direction.”

Commenting on the experience, he added: “That’s Forex for you! Let’s see how this plays out.”

From YouTube Interviews to Financial Markets

Kioko rose to prominence through his online interviews and human-interest content, building a substantial following on YouTube.

His channel has accumulated more than 600,000 subscribers and over 36 million views, with much of his content centred on street interviews, celebrity conversations and personal stories.

He has also previously spoken about the financial challenges facing Kenyan digital creators, particularly the relatively low earnings generated from YouTube views compared with creators in Western markets.

Kioko has cited estimated earnings of between KSh80,000 and KSh100,000 for every one million views among local YouTubers.

His latest announcement signals a new direction in his career, as he ventures into financial markets and account management.
