Njambi Fever Confirms Separation From Husband, Says They Remain Legally Married

Kenyan content creator Njambi Fever has opened up about the state of her marriage, revealing that she and her husband are currently separated but remain legally married.

Njambi addressed the issue during a TikTok Live session, where she responded to questions about her personal life and explained why she sometimes continues to share a home with her estranged husband.

Njambi explains their living arrangement

The content creator revealed that despite their separation, she and her husband occasionally live under the same roof.

According to Njambi, their living arrangement depends on circumstances at any given time, including their moods and other factors.

“Sometimes we live in the same house, sometimes we don’t,” she stated during the stream. “It depends on many things, moods, but we have a big house, like we have a three-bedroom, so yeah.”

She acknowledged that such an arrangement may be difficult for people who have never experienced marriage to understand.

Njambi suggested that the dynamics of living separately while remaining married can be complicated and are best understood by people who have gone through similar situations.

‘We are separated, not divorced’

Njambi was keen to clarify that reports or assumptions suggesting that her marriage had been formally dissolved were inaccurate.

She said the couple remain legally married and have not gone through a divorce.

“We are married. We have the certificate,” she said. “Things are not working out. So right now we are separated, not divorced. We are giving ourselves grace.”

She explained that the separation has given both parties an opportunity to experience life outside the marriage and reflect on their future.

“Yeye ajikumbushe street zikoje, mimi nijikumbushe street zikoje,” she remarked.

Njambi added that their experiences during the separation could eventually influence whether they decide to work on the marriage.

“If we see the streets are not pleasing, we can sit down and decide if it is therapy.”

Njambi chooses to focus on her peace

The creator was also asked about previous allegations of infidelity within the marriage.

Njambi indicated that she was no longer interested in dwelling on such issues, saying her priority was maintaining her peace and focusing on her own life.

“Honestly, that is not something that can cross my mind. That is not my business,” she declared.

She added:

“I have my shit together. Leave me in peace.”

Looking ahead, Njambi appeared to be in no hurry to pursue another serious relationship.

She jokingly suggested that she might only consider companionship much later in life.

“Maybe when I am 45 I will look for someone for companionship,” she reflected.

Njambi and husband remain legally married

Njambi and her husband share one child and previously formalised their union through a civil marriage.

Their relationship has faced public scrutiny following previous allegations of infidelity and marital difficulties.

In recent weeks, Njambi has also shared videos describing herself as single while travelling, prompting questions from followers about whether her marriage had officially ended.
