Information peddler Oupa Brown Mogotsi has been denied bail for a fourth time.

On Tuesday, the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court rejected his latest bid, finding that Mogotsi – who is accused of staging an attempt on his life – could not be trusted and was a flight risk.

His three previous bail applications were refused, mainly because his address could not be verified.

This time, he lodged an application on new facts, in which he listed a property in the North West as his primary address and another in Johannesburg, which belonged to a family friend, as an alternative address.

The court, however, found that there were, in fact, no new facts and the application was dismissed.
