American YouTuber Chris Barnes shows some of his injuries from a late night robbery and assault in Pattaya

CHONBURI — 20 October 2026, 37-year-old American YouTuber Chris Barnes says he was assaulted and robbed outside a bar in Pattaya early on 18 October. In a video posted on 20 October, he identified two men known as Avery and Pressure, as well as sharing their social media accounts.

Barnes said he had gone to the bar to meet someone and was carrying a camera and bag because he was making content. He said Pressure, whom he had spoken with before, greeted him as usual and then invited him outside to talk.

Barnes alleged that Pressure contacted Avery to tell him he was there. CCTV footage shown in Barnes’ post appears to show Avery coming outside shortly after Barnes and Pressure leave the bar. Barnes said he had never spoken with Avery before.
