The Institute finally has a release date.
Mixing sci-fi and horror with supernatural elements, The Institute debuted on MGM+ in July. It adapts King’s 2019 novel of the same name, and the story follows a group of children with extraordinary abilities who are mysteriously abducted.
The MGM+ Original features a cast that includes Ben Barnes, Joe Freeman, Simone Miller, Fionn Laird, Hannah Galway, Julian Richings, Robert Joy, Martin Roach and Mary-Louise Parker, with Jason Diaz, Jordan Alexander and Jane Luk in recurring roles. Although the series received a mixed response from critics, it has already built a loyal following.
On X, Stephen King confirmed that The Institute season 2 will premiere on November 8.
