Paola Barbato ha ricevuto il Romics d’Oro a Romics. Nata a Milano nel 1971, bresciana d’adozione e residente a Verona, Barbato è scrittrice e sceneggiatrice. Dal 1999 firma le storie di Dylan Dog per Sergio Bonelli Editore, contribuendo all’evoluzione di uno dei personaggi più iconici del fumetto italiano. Nel corso della sua carriera ha partecipato a numerosi altri progetti, tra cui la serie 10 ottobre e la miniserie Ut disegnata da Corrado Roi, affermandosi per una scrittura capace di unire tensione narrativa, introspezione psicologica e indagine sulle zone più oscure dell’animo umano.
