Russia vs Nigeria LIVE UPDATES: Super Eagles seek redemption in Nizhny Novgorod

The Super Eagles will be hoping to put their recent disappointment behind them when they face Russia in an international friendly at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium on Tuesday.

Nigeria are seeking a response after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau in their last outing, a result that will add pressure on the team to deliver a stronger performance against the Russians.

Russia, however, enter the encounter with confidence after thrashing Namibia 6-0 in their previous match. The hosts will also have home support behind them as they look to maintain their impressive form.

For Nigeria, the match offers another opportunity to assess the squad and build momentum ahead of their upcoming competitive fixtures. The Super Eagles will also be keen to restore confidence with a convincing display against a Russian side expected to provide a stern test.

Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
