Never has Venom been as powerful as he is now, bonded to the biggest host a symbiote has ever met. In Marvel lore, the connection between a symbiote and its host is a bilateral psychic and biological fusion. When a Klyntar alien merges with a living being, it accesses the host's nervous system and replicates their physical attributes while augmenting their baseline strength, agility, and unique superpowers. However, this synchronization extends far beyond physical traits, as the two entities share a deep mental link that fundamentally alters personalities and memories. A symbiote feeds on the host's adrenaline and intense emotions like rage, which exaggerates their darkest desires.

The Marvel multiverse has witnessed terrifying instances where symbiotes have claimed massive hosts. In multiple arcs and alternate timelines, Venom has bonded to characters like Galactus, the Hulk, and Thor, and even an already powerful fusion between Red Hulk and Ghost Rider. Recently, Knull has forcefully bonded his symbiotes to Godzilla to make the King of the Monsters unstoppable. Likewise, Superman himself became Venom's host in Marvel & DC's Spider-Man and Superman crossover, where the wall-crawler is lucky the Man of Steel doesn't fully succumb to the symbiote's influence.

Venom's new host may not be as strong as Godzilla or Galactus, but it's certainly much more massive than the King of the Monsters and the Devourer of Worlds.

Venom Bonds To Earth And Becomes Venomworld

The cosmic conflict between Knull and Hela in Queen in Black starts to bode well for the heroes, as Beta Ray Bill kills Tyr and fries Hela in Queen in Black: Defenders of Light and Dark #3. Meanwhile, all of the heroes on Earth witness the whole planet get conquered by symbiote goo and darkness. When they open their eyes, they see a giant Venom, bonded to Mary Jane Watson, who reveals they're in the Venom mindscape, and that they're now part of the Venomworld: the whole Earth bonded to Venom.

Venomworld might be the boldest symbiote design to date, as Marvel takes major liberties with the physics involved. The Symbiote Earth features white eyes roughly the size of Europe and a mouth bigger than the Americas, with a massive tongue that seems to come straight out of the Earth's core, made of the burning materials of the Earth's mantle. Logically, the massive hole that represents Venomworld's mouth would tear the planet apart, and the global symbiote takeover should take hours at maximum speed. Yet, Venom's Kylntar nature defies the laws of physics to create the biggest host to date.

Mary Jane Watson Overshadows The Entire Marvel Roster

Mary Jane has showcased her talent as a symbiote host ever since she became the All-New Venom, but her impressive performance has mostly relied on strategy and decision-making. Few characters could have expected MJ to be the one human host to perform the global takeover that turns Earth into Venomworld. Now controlling the whole planet thanks to their connection to the Venom Mindscape, Mary Jane and Venom can protect every single terrestrial and visitor from the Queen in Black while the Defenders of Light and Dark finish the job in outer space.

After Hela and Knull are defeated, Mary Jane is officially stepping away from Venom so the symbiote can reunite with his favorite host, Eddie Brock. MJ herself is embarking on new adventures, but after the events of Queen in Black, Mary Jane will always hold a spot among the most skilled Venom hosts in Marvel history. MJ's already impressive run as a Lethal Protector culminates with her role as the brains of Venomworld, and most notably, as the temporary protector of the entire superhero community.
