North West sees isolated showers and rain in the north-east. Otherwise, it stays partly cloudy and cool, turning cloudy in the north.
Mahikeng faces morning fog, reaching 26°C.
Rustenburg also sees fog, with a high of 25°C.
The Free State and Limpopo fall within the broader national pattern today, staying cloudy and cool in the north and north-east, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers possible.
Mpumalanga starts with morning fog in places south of the escarpment. Otherwise, it stays fine and warm.

The Northern Cape and Western Cape both fall under the “fine and warm” half of today’s national split.
Cape Town stays cloudy, reaching 22°C, with a low of 15°C.
The Eastern Cape sees a slightly wetter day.
Gqeberha faces rain showers, with a 30% chance of rain, reaching 25°C.
KwaZulu-Natal stays partly cloudy and mild.
Durban can expect a high of 22°C, with a low of 17°C.
It’s a genuinely welcome change of pace after last week’s run of severe warnings.
Worth enjoying the calm while it lasts, especially if you’re anywhere near the Eastern Cape’s coast today, where a little rain is still on the cards.
