Bafana Bafana assemble for Pitso Mosimane’s return
Bafana Bafana squad has assembled in Johannesburg in what will be Pitso Mosimane‘s first camp with the team since his return.
Mosimane was announced as Hugo Broos’ successor on a four-year deal a few weeks ago after weeks of negotiating.
He has since named his first squad which comprises of the majority of players who were regular features during Broos’ tenure.
Now, following the conclusion of Sunday’s Betway Premiership fixtures, those selected reported for camp.
According to the Bafana Bafana media team, not all the players are in camp but some of those plying their trade abroad will arrive tonight (Monday).
Mosimane’s men will take on Guinea in their opening Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on 26 September at Orlando Stadium.
They will then travel to Egypt to take on Eritrea on 30 September before wrapping up with an international friendly against Egypt on 4 October.
