Follow live: Valkyries cruising in Game 4 as they look to even the series

Translate

ATLANTA -- After winning the opening game of the WNBA Finals, the Golden State Valkyries have lost the last two by a combined 40 points.

Heading into Saturday's Game 4 (1 p.m. ET) against the Atlanta Dream -- which feels like a must-win for the Valkyries -- Gabby Williams said, "I want to see the Golden State I've seen all year."

That's the version that must show up at State Farm Arena if the Valkyries want to avoid falling further behind in the best-of-seven series.

Both teams seek their first championship. Reese has helped the Dream to a 2-1 lead after the franchise was swept in its three previous Finals appearances. Golden State, an expansion franchise in 2025, is making its first trip to the Finals in just its second season.

ESPN is on site Saturday and will provide live updates and highlights from courtside.

Change to the Valkyries starting lineup

The Valkyries are starting differently, inserting Tiffany Hayes and Kaila Charles into the starting lineup. The hope is that Charles will be able to help defend Angel Reese, while Hayes can give an early scoring punch. Will it help them get off to a better start? -- Kendra Andrews

State Farm is L-O-U-D

It's so loud in here that it's hard to hear the whistle. Burton was just called for a foul and I did not hear anything. Best of luck to the players. -- Katie Barnes
