If you’re the kind of person who likes to document everything, either for professional and/or personal reasons, and your phone’s camera isn’t cutting it, you might be considering a dedicated vlogging camera. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is discounted to $395 (usually $499) at a variety of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo. The large 1-inch sensor is mounted to a built-in gimbal that offers smooth, stable movement, letting you take impressive videos of your travels, activities, or daily routine. The built-in screen helps you frame shots and check footage on the go without pulling out your phone.

$395

The Pocket 3 features a 1-inch CMOS sensor, three built-in microphones, and a 2-inch rotatable screen. If you’re unhappy with the video your phone captures, DJI’s compact cam makes it easy to get high-quality, stabilized footage, whether you’re vlogging your adventures or filming a wedding. Read our impressions.

The Pocket 3, like its name implies, is compact enough to easily slide into a pocket or small bag, yet still manages to take high quality video. The results are often compared to pricier dedicated mirrorless digital cameras, delivered without the fuss of tweaking exposure or heavy post-processing. It’s capable of shooting up to 4K at 120 frames per second, and while it has built-in microphones, you can connect it to DJI’s Mic Mini wireless mics. While there is a DJI Osmo Pocket 4, it isn’t officially for sale in the United States.
