Translate

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) anticipates a slight rise in temperatures across most parts of the country on Sunday.

Hot weather is anticipated during the day in most regions, while conditions leaning cooler at night and in the early morning – bringing a noticeable contrast between day and night.

In Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, maximum temperatures are expected to range between 29C and 30C, with minimums between 21C and 22C.

Along the northern coasts, maximum temperatures will range from 27C-30C, and the minimum from 18C to 22C.

In northern Upper Egypt, maximum temperatures are forecast to be between 30C and 31C, with the minimum range between 17C and 18C, while in southern Upper Egypt, maximum temperatures will reach 32C to 33C and the minimum ranging from 19C-21C.

There will be an intermittent chance of light rain in parts of the northern coastal governorates, northern Lower Egypt, and the Western Desert.

Satellite imagery indicates wind activity with speeds ranging between 30-40 km/h across parts of the northwestern coast and the Western Desert; these winds may intermittently stir up sand and dust.

Low-level clouds are appearing over scattered areas of Greater Cairo, the southern Nile Delta, and the Suez Canal cities, which could result in light, inconsequential drizzle in some locations.
