9 huge Hollyoaks spoilers for next week (5 to 7 October)

Next week on Hollyoaks, Leah confronts Lucas about his guilt, and she ends up unconscious at the bottom of the steps! Meanwhile, the walls are closing in on Gemma, but will she finally be caught out?

Monday 5 October - Episode 6779

1. Leah has a theory

James is adamant that he is being framed for Ste’s disappearance. Leah is firmly in defence of her former stepdad, and she later tells Lucas that she believes James is innocent.

Later, Misbah, Imran and Gemma head over to offer their support to Ste’s family, but it all gets too much for Leah. She takes a break outside and is comforted by her ex, Imran. Back inside, Gemma scowls at Lucas, and is furious about their mysterious secret.

2. Dodger discovers a secret

The hospital staff are gossiping about Gemma, so Misbah suggests that she calls in sick – but Gemma is determined not to let Mercedes affect her.

Meanwhile, Mercedes comes to Dodger with new evidence about Gemma and tells him about her and Jenson’s crimes. Dodger confronts Jenson, who reveals that he is an undercover police officer and has intel on Ste’s case. But does Dodger believe him?

3. Leah confronts Lucas

Lucas admits his guilt about something, and Leah overhears this surprise confession. She confronts her brother and tells him to stay away from her – but she loses her footing and falls down the stairs!

Frankie spots what has happened to Leah and rushes out of the shop, as stunned Lucas watches on…

Tuesday 6 October - Episode 6780

4. Lucas panics

As Leah lies unresponsive at the bottom of the steps, Lucas panics and runs away immediately. Thankfully, Misbah and Gemma take action and unconscious Leah is taken to hospital.

Imran is devastated about Leah’s accident and tells his mum that he is still in love with her. But meanwhile, Lucas is keen to get out of the village as soon as possible and asks Xander for help.

5. Suspicions about Gemma grow

When Dodger heads to ask Warren about Gemma, Warren misunderstands the line of questioning and accidentally admits that they recently slept together.

Mercedes is frustrated that Gemma hasn’t been arrested yet, after the evidence that she disclosed. But the walls are closing in, as Dodger tells Donny he is concerned that Gemma is involved with Ste’s disappearance.

Wednesday 7 October - Episode 6781

6. Donny makes a decision

Jenson plays Mercedes a series of voicemails where Gemma confesses to her crimes involving the crypto wallets. Mercedes takes these voicemails to the station and shows the incriminating recordings to Dodger and Donny.

While Donny struggles to accept his daughter’s guilt, he and Dodger decide to bring Gemma in.

7. Gemma faces a police chase

Gemma is feeling down about the events of the week and is supported by Misbah, who says she doesn’t believe the gossip. Keen to keep things normal, Gemma decides to go back to work – but just after she leaves the house, Dodger and Donny arrive with an arrest warrant.

The pair follow Gemma to the hospital, and a tense chase unfolds. Will Gemma be caught, and will she face consequences?

8. Imran supports Leah

When Leah wakes up in hospital following her fall, she finds Imran sitting at her bedside. As Leah attempts to move forward after this incident, will Imran be there to support her, and could the former couple reunite?

9. Frankie gets some advice

Nancy notices how great Frankie is with Leah in the aftermath of her fall, and she suggests that she might want to go into nursing as a career. With her dance dreams on hold for now, could Frankie discover a new ambition instead?

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
