Translate

Egyptian Thunderbolt Forces and the Italian Special Forces conducted a joint training exercise, codenamed (4IT-EGY-T-), as part of the Armed Forces’ efforts to strengthen military cooperation with their counterparts in brotherly and friendly countries. The exercise lasted several days and was held in Italy.

The activities included a number of tactical and specialized exercises, including training on safe movement techniques in mountainous areas and dealing with rugged geographical terrain, as well as training in mountain-climbing skills and rapid descent from elevated areas in unusual environments and weather conditions.

The training also covered first-aid and medical evacuation procedures in various emergencies.

The exercise aims to exchange expertise, hone the combat and specialized skills of the participating personnel, and enhance their levels of efficiency and readiness to carry out special-skills missions effectively and proficiently.
