‘Breaking Bad’ star Aaron Paul is ready to part with his historic Los Angeles home, which he bought in 2019. The actor originally listed the home for USD 10 million in July 2025. Now, according to the listing on Serhant, the home has officially sold for USD 7.5 million.

Aaron Paul sells off his LA home after 7 years of ownership

Located at 2666 Aberdeen Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027, Aaron Paul bought his historic Los Angeles home in 2019. Almost seven years later, the actor has officially sold the property. The listing shared online that the property sold for USD 7.49 million. The property is one of the few homes constructed in the hills above LA’s Los Feliz neighborhood. Known as the Seyler House, it is one of the first four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom properties, now sitting on 1.5 acres just underneath the Griffith Park area.

While talking to PEOPLE when the property was first put up for sale, the actor shared it will always hold a special place in his heart. At the time he shared that the house “has been a safe haven for my family, and we feel so lucky to have experienced so much life here over the years.

" We will forever hold this home and its history close to our hearts.”

Why Aaron Paul sold off his property in LA

The actor had opened up about how he had been planning on shifting his family to Paris soon and that they did not wish to live in Los Angeles anymore.

While talking to Travel + Leisure in an old interview, the actor had opened up about the Paris move, sharing that after the Southern California wildfires in January last year, Paul and his wife Lauren had moved with their daughter Story, 8, and son Ryden, 4, to Europe. He shared at the time, “We have always dreamt of doing a year abroad. Specifically in Paris. Love the food, the history, and the people. Every time I came to Paris, I never wanted to leave.

We wanted our kids to learn another language and be surrounded by another culture. It was very important to us.”

More about Aaron Paul’s LA mansion

The property was originally built in 1922 and was built by famed architect Stiles O. Clemens, who is also known for designing the El Capitan Theater. Later, when Tim Curry acquired the home, he went through a long phase of restoring the property. Before Paul bought the space back in 2019, a lot of well-known stars had owned and lived in the property, including basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and actors Noah Wyle, Robert Pattinson, and Jim Parsons. The property is surrounded by greenery from all angles and has outdoor features like a koi pond, a freeform pool, grassy pads surrounding the main residence area, fire pits, a cold plunge, a spa, and a natural amphitheater, to name a few. The interior of the home remains consistent with its original Spanish Colonial design; however, the actor renovated the property to his taste, adding a rustic touch. The entire home is adorned with shades of brown, featuring wood paneling and wooden flooring throughout.

Spanning 4,026 square feet, the space also has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room fire space and stunning views of the surrounding area in Los Feliz.DISCLAIMER: Figures presented in this article are derived from various public sources and are considered approximate unless explicitly noted.
