Pragmata's Diana & Mega Man Join Forces on Social Media

Translate

The social media accounts for the Pragmata and Mega Man games teamed up for a series of posts, beginning with the Mega Man account releasing a logo-less image of Mega Man: Dual Override with the caption, "Who is "Mega Man"? A kind-hearted and righteous robot who uses his Mega Buster and special weapons to overcome challenges." In response, the Pragmata account replied with an image of Pragmata lead characters Diana (dressed up as Mega Man character Roll) and Hugh (dressed up as Mega Man) with the caption, "Diana: 'This illustration's style is nice. Maybe I'll copy it?'"

The back-and-forth continued with the Mega Man account replying with a stunned looking Mega Man without his armor asking, “Huh? I look somewhat different…?"

To this, the Pragmata account posted an original illustration of Mega Man and Diana in the style of the former's series. The caption reads, "Diana: 'I tried getting closer to the Mega Man artstyle! What do you think?'"

The playful banter between the two CAPCOM properties concluded with the Pragmata account posting an original illustration of Mega Man and Diana in an action pose. Diana asks Mega Man, "Did you see the last illustration? This time it's our best pose!"

Pragmata is receiving a DLC that includes a new skin themed after Mega Man and Roll for Hugh and Diana, respectively, this year.

The science-fiction action-adventure game Pragmata launched for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on April 17, one week earlier than the planned April 24 date. The game has a demo available now for all four platforms. CAPCOM delayed the game's release in June 2025. The game was first announced in 2020 and was originally slated for release in 2022, before delays.

Pragmata is "set in a dystopian near-future on Earth's Moon." CAPCOM said the game makes "full use of new next-gen tech, such as ray-tracing, to create a breathtaking and immersive sci-fi setting like never before."

CAPCOM first released Mega Man, known as Rock Man in Japan, for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987. The Mega Man series has seen 12 major installments, with the most recent being Mega Man: Dual Override. The franchise has seen several spinoff series, including Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero, Mega Man ZX, and Mega Man Battle Network series, among others.
