'Stop empty statements': Ben-Gvir warns Likud against preventing Gotliv's move to Otzma Yehudit

National Security Minister and Otzma Yehudit party leader Itamar Ben-Gvir said on Wednesday that Likud needs to conclude the transfer of Tally Gotliv to his party today if it wishes for the MK to run during the upcoming elections in the right-wing party.

"If Likud wants to transfer Tally Gotliv to Otzma Yehudit, it needs to carry out the procedures today, instead of sending empty briefings to the media," said Ben-Gvir in a statement.

This follows Gotliv telling KAN Reshet Bet on Tuesday that she would weigh joining Otzma Yehudit if presented with a worthwhile offer.

"I would be very happy to receive a good concrete offer from Otzma Yehudit, and I would consider it seriously," Gotliv told KAN. "I owe it to my voters to seriously consider any concrete proposal that would allow me to put my abilities to use."

"The prime minister owes me nothing; he is under no obligation to appoint me justice minister, nor will he appoint me to any other ministerial post or as the chair of an important committee."
Gotliv claimed she had been deliberately targeted during the party's primaries, after Netanyahu's reserved slots on Likud's list pushed her to the 20th spot.
