Prime Video officially has a perfect new action thriller binge for Reacher fans, with eight episodes of Chris Pratt’s globe-trotting espionage series. Premiering Wednesday, October 21, 2026, this popular action series finally returns after its original debut in 2022 and has earned more than 100 million viewers worldwide as a franchise since its launch. Now, Chris Pratt's action series has skyrocketed to the top of Prime Video's U.S. viewership chart, surpassing the streamer's biggest Fall 2026 hits such as Carrie and Neagley.

The Terminal List season 2 just arrived on Prime Video, starring Chris Pratt as former Navy SEAL James Reece. With its similar one-person army action and combative thriller elements, it's the perfect show for fans of Reacher to enjoy on Prime Video right now, and is undoubtedly one of the best new shows to binge-watch on Prime Video this weekend. All eight The Terminal List season 2 episodes are ready to watch right now, so there's no need to wait every week for new episodes like Reacher. If you loved both Reacher and Neagley, The Terminal List is a must-watch series for you on Prime Video.

With both Reacher season 4 and Neagley season 1 recently dropping on Prime Video in recent months, The Terminal List season 2 was perfectly positioned to be the next big streaming sensation this Fall 2026. Just like Reacher, The Terminal List has a widely recognized face of its franchise in Chris Pratt, who has been immortalized through his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and dozens of other noteworthy films. What's more, Pratt's protagonist, James Reece, is a highly skilled and military-trained survivalist with both brains and brawn, both of which he uses to his advantage,

Additionally, both Alan Ritchson's Jack Reacher and Chris Pratt's James Reece are larger-than-life heroic figures whose actions often protect the greater good at the expense of their own reputations. For example. Reacher was on the run from the federal government and local police throughout Reacher season 4 because he was forced to go outside of the law to achieve a larger covert objective. Reece's journey was similar in The Terminal List season 1, in which he was a loose end of a massive conspiracy that took the lives of nearly all of his Navy SEAL team. Because both characters are forced to completely rely on themselves while also enlisting the help of others, Reece and Reacher are fundamentally similar heroes.

The Terminal List Has Quietly Become One Of Prime Video’s Biggest Action Franchises

The Terminal List season 1 received surprisingly harsh feedback from critics compared to its 91% near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes audience score and enormous viewership. Production stalled on a second season of The Terminal List due to several contributing factors, including the 2023 WGA and DGA strikes, Chris Pratt's jam-packed Hollywood shooting schedule, and the creation of its prequel series, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which put Taylor Kitsch's supporting character Ben Edwards in the driver's seat of the franchise. Now, with the release of The Terminal List season 2, the series is finally staking its claim as one of Prime Video's biggest action franchises.

The Terminal List season 2's early surge in viewership proves that the demand for the series hasn't faltered over the last few years and that the franchise can start living up to its true potential. Like Reacher, The Terminal List is based on a book series, several of which have already been written by author and former Navy SEAL Jack Carr.

All things considered, The Terminal List has a clear path to becoming an action thriller franchise that is just as big, if not bigger, than Reacher, so long as Pratt remains committed to expanding on the project. Although The Terminal List season 3 has yet to be confirmed, the overall interest is strong enough to expect Prime Video's new budding action franchise to continue to grow.
