She also enjoys all things creative, like sewing and makeup.

After what can only be described as an excruciating wait, Solo Leveling's sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, has finally returned from hiatus, kicking off its third season with three new episodes. Between having to find a new North American home and even a new artist, much has changed since the series went on break back in January of this year.

That said, the beloved sequel has returned stronger than ever. Chapters 69 to 71 of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok dropped on KakaoPage on November 5 as planned, and not only is the new artwork absolutely gorgeous, but the story has already taken off with a bang, even bringing back a fan-favorite character to kick off the new season.

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Finally Brings Back Cha Hae-In

Solo Leveling Ragnarok Season 3 teaser

Leading up to Solo Leveling: Ragnarok's big Season 3 return, D&C Webtoon recently shared a sneak peek notably featuring Cha Hae-in among the previews, teasing her long-awaited return in the sequel series. Cha Hae-in, along with Sung Jinwoo, has been absent since before the start of Ragnarok, with her disappearance and the search for her even serving as one of the primary reasons why Suho set out on his journey in the first place.

Cha Hae-in's whereabouts were a complete mystery until Chapter #65, when it was only revealed through Sirka that she had been in the realm of the snow folk all this time. And as promised in the previews, with the release of Season 3 of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, Cha Hae-in has finally made her long-awaited return.

Cha Hae-in in Solo Leveling Ragnarok

Chapter #70 of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok sees the Korean hunters within the S-rank gate follow a young snow elf to their village and come across Cha Hae-in. This marks her first proper appearance in the sequel outside of flashbacks and a singular silhouetted teaser way back during the Season 1 finale.

In fact, ever since Cha Hae-in was briefly spotted with Kaisel in Chapter #47, fans have been patiently awaiting and anticipating her return even more, and Solo Leveling: Ragnarok's newest chapters do not disappoint by not only explaining her mysterious disappearance but also seeing her in action again for the first time since the original series.

Cha Hae-in Takes The Spotlight in Solo Leveling's New Episodes

Cha Hae-in in action in Solo Leveling Ragnarok

At the start of the sequel, it was believed that Hae-in might have been captured by the Apostle of the Itarim. Jinwoo and Hae-in had mysteriously gone missing on the same day, and even Beru was surprised to learn of Hae-in's disappearance. But, as revealed in Chapter #71 of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, Cha Hae-in and Kaisel in fact came across a gate after parting ways with Jinwoo in the original epilogue of Solo Leveling, and she was trapped within the dungeon after entering it.

Luckily, Hae-in also awakened as a hunter shortly after, but she was unable to find a way out of the dungeon. The latest chapter also sees Hae-in lead the Korean hunters to the dungeon boss, fighting off hordes of powerful monsters along the way in all her former glory, with all her sharp senses still intact. Hae-in will likely continue to play a central role in the rest of the current story arc, meaning fans will hopefully get to see more of her in combat in the chapters to come.

More importantly, however, an emotional, long-overdue reunion is potentially also on the horizon. Suho and Hae-in have been apart for years, and when the dust is settled, the mother-son reunion will surely be a highlight of the upcoming season. That said, it is also unclear whether Cha Hae-in will remain a part of the main story for very long after the current story arc wraps up, as she and Jinwoo were intentionally written out to allow Suho to shine. And while Suho may have grown exponentially since the start of the series, his journey in Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is still nowhere close to complete.
