Joshua Jackson Teases Daughter Juno’s Halloween Costume
Joshua Jackson Says Ex Jodie Turner-Smith Has Daughter Juno’s Halloween Costume Covered
Joshua Jackson is on the fringe of Halloween planning this year.
Though spooky season is entirely upon us, the Dawson’s Creek alum shared that when it comes to his 6-year-old daughter Juno’s costume this year, his ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith is captain of that particular ghostly ship.
“This is mom's costume year,” Jackson told E! News at the Airbnb.org Gala Oct. 28. “She is very specific about what she wants. So, mom is on that.”
And though reticent to reveal all the skeletons hidden in his daughter’s closet, he did tease of Juno’s possible get-up, “She will be the most amazing gentry child that has ever gentry child.”
After all, when it comes to being a dad to this particular daughter, Jackson admitted it's “all pretty fabulous,” even if its feels like it’s all moving too quickly.
“Another parent told me a couple of years ago that there is this beautiful sadness about being a parent,” he added, “that every night you put that baby to bed, but every morning you wake up to the new baby. And I feel that really deeply now because she's growing and changing so fast.”
He added, “I feel that really deeply now because she's growing and changing so fast. And you miss the ones that were, but the one that is, is just phenomenal. Seeing her flourish is just the greatest feeling in the world. It's just the greatest joy.”
And he’s reveling in this joyous time, which comes just under two years after his and Juno’s home burned down in the 2025 Los Angeles fires. For Jackson, the experience reframed what a home truly means to him.

Now, “home is where my daughter is,” he explained. “It is an interesting thing to lose every single thing that you own in a morning. So, it is less a physical place than it is an emotional place. And once the emotional place is taken care of, then you can work on the physical place.”
The entire ordeal is part of the reason the 48-year-old was so happy to support the Airbnb.org gala, which supported the company’s mission to provide annual free housing for disaster support, families traveling for medical care, survivors fleeing domestic violence and more.
“As a person who unexpectedly found himself houseless, homeless a couple of years ago,” Jackson explained, “I am deeply appreciative of any organization that endeavors to put roofs over people's heads. When you are in that moment of crisis and scrambling around and need help, there is nothing that brings more peace of mind than knowing that if nothing else you have a place to stay.”
He continued, “So, I think it's tremendous what they do. I think the mission is beautiful.”
But while the final preparations are added to Juno’s costume, read on to see the celebrity Halloween looks that have already been revealed this year.
