Singaporean artist Charlie Lim returns to Rappler Live Jam!
MANILA, Philippines – Singaporean singer-songwriter, producer, and musician Charlie Lim returns to Rappler Live Jam on Thursday, October 8!
Lim is in the country for the Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, Inc. (FILSCAP) songwriting camp, which brought in artists from the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam to create original songs together.
This year, the Singaporean act also released DAYDREAM, an eight-track album considered to be his most intimate one yet.
“This album taught me that clarity often comes from taking things away and trusting silence, space, and vulnerability to do the heavy lifting,” Lim said about the record in a press release.
Lim also released a new version of the song “One Day I’ll Learn” alongside Filipino rapper Young Cocoa.
