Miles Teller Signs With LBI Entertainment (Exclusive)

Translate

The veteran actor has inked with LBI Entertainment for management representation. At the firm, Teller will be represented by Rick Yorn and Scott Greenberg, and he joins a roster of A-list LBI clients that includes Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese (repped by Yorn) along with Greenberg clients Taylor Sheridan and Antoine Fuqua, among others.

The move comes ahead of his next starring turn opposite Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson in James Gray‘s Paper Tiger. The Neon release, which hits theaters Nov. 13, enjoyed a critically acclaimed debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May, and it has since screened at multiple high-profile festivals, garnering some buzz for Teller’s performance.

It’s not his only major bow of the year as he starred as John Branca, the executor of the Michael Jackson estate, in Fuqua’s biopic Michael. That film opened to record numbers back in April, pulling in close to $100 million at the domestic box office and north of $200 worldwide. It has continued to be music to moviegoers’ ears by topping $1 billion. Teller had another billion-dollar-buster with the Tom Cruise-starrer Top Gun: Maverick for filmmaker Joseph Kosinski. That film, which came out in May 2022, pulled in $1.495 billion.

Teller’s been working for more than two decades, amassing credits on a mix of genres from blockbusters to character studies in films like Rabbit Hole opposite Nicole Kidman, Footloose, Project X, The Spectacular Now, the best picture nominee Whiplash from Damien Chazelle, the Divergent franchise, Fantastic Four as Reed Richards, Jason Hall’s military drama Thank You For Your Service, the series The Offer as notable producer Al Ruddy, Kosinski’s Spiderhead opposite Chris Hemsworth, Scott Derrickson’s The Gorge opposite Anya Taylor Joy, and Eternity opposite Callum Turner and Elizabeth Olsen.

Teller recently wrapped Copperhead, a project that brought him back in the fold with Only the Brave production company Black Label Media. He stars in the John Swab-directed film opposite Jason Momoa, Adria Arjona and Leila George. Penned by Chad Feehan and J. Todd Scott, Copperhead follows a veteran detective as he’s forced to partner with a young federal agent in West Texas after an undercover drug deal erupts in violence and uncovers a conspiracy within their elite task force. Black Label is financing and producing with Teller’s Lime Tree Productions and Swab’s Milk Boy.

Teller continues to be repped by CAA, The Initiative Group and the law firm of Goodman, Genow, Schenkman & Christopher.
