The actor and stand-up comic, who had been in the entertainment industry since he was a mere 18-year-old, has passed away at 57.
He left for his heavenly abode in Tanzania, where he had been living for the past 18 years.
His sister, Bernice McFadden, confirmed the news of his passing in an official statement to The Hollywood Reporter. She revealed that the US State Department had notified the family that he passed away in Tanzania.The cause of death was not known at the time of filing this article.

Reggie, along with acts like Ricky Harris, are comedians that made me fall in love with this art form.
Their sets play in my head to this day.”

Who was Reggie McFadden?
McFadden started his career as an actor and stand-up comic when he was only 18 years old in Manhattan coffeehouses.
He landed his first screen role in the 1990 film ‘Jacob's Ladder,' and the rest is history. Some of his most well-known TV appearances over the years included ‘In Living Color’ from 1993-1994.’ Martin’, 'Coach,' 'Moesha,' ‘Getting Personal,' ‘Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper,' and ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm.'He was born on November 30, 1968, and spent his formative years growing up in Brooklyn. This is also where he decided to pursue comedy as a full-time career in order to get away from living in the projects. His Facebook profile shared that he was the owner of a gold mining company, as well as an entertainment production company in Tanzania.He is survived by his sisters, Beatrice and Misty, as well as his sons, Jaron and Myles; his mother, Vivian; and his brother, Kris.
