Did Mika Singh just take a sly dig at Jasmine Sandlas, King? Says, 'Main lip-sync nahi…’ before live performance

Singer Mika Singh has once again shown that he does not believe in fooling his fans. At FICCI Frames 2026, the singer said he performs live instead of lip-syncing, and the video of his remarks has now gone viral on social media.

Mika Singh ends day one on a high note

Mika Singh performed on the first day of FICCI Frames 2026. The day had many sessions and discussions, and the singer was chosen to close it with a high-energy show. Before he began, he told the crowd that he prefers to give his heart and soul to his audience rather than trick them with a pre-recorded track.

What Mika Singh said before the performance

Mika Singh picked up the mic, greeted the waiting audience and said, "It's all live. Abhi tak aapne jitne artiste bulaye, bade-bade, woh lip-sync karte hai.

But main live ga raha hoon (It’s all live. So far, the big artists you’ve invited have all performed to lip-sync tracks. But I’m singing live)."He added that he does not need a large crew on stage. "100 dancers nahi hai. Bada taam-jaam nahi hai. 1 sardar hi kaafi hai mere liye (I don’t need 100 dancers or a big, extravagant setup. One Sardar is enough for me)," Mika said, drawing loud applause from the people present.

Songs that lit up the stage

The singer then performed some of his best-known hits, including 'Mauja Hi Mauja', 'Ladki Aankh Maare' and 'Saawan Mein'.

His set added a lively touch to the event.

Netizens react to the viral video

Social media users quickly shared their views in the comments. One user wrote, "One and Only King of voice and Bollywood is @mikasingh sir." Another commented, "Bhai kaam mil geya itna he kafi hai kisi ko ku bolna."A third person said, "Mika ke show mein maza aata hai. Vibe alag hai." One more user wrote, "Humare dimag me sirf comparison aur competition hi reh gaya hai. Jaise hi koi artist dikhta hai, hum uski burai karne lagte hai."

Lip-syncing row in the background

For the unversed, 'Dhurandhar' singer Jasmine Sandlas and KING were heavily trolled online after they were reportedly caught lip-syncing during their live shows.
